October Weather

Well I haven't come by to share a whine in awhile so today is your lucky day! Every October it never fails. Hot all the way through the month. All week this week it's been warm in the 80's today, the day before Halloween it's overcast, cold and yucky. So our kids that have been running around in shorts all week will yet again freeze their buns off on Halloween, but this year sounds like we will get the added bonus of our first rain day! Score! Extra miserable cold AND wet on Halloween! Ugh that's fall for CA for ya!!

I thought I could easily figure out how to change my design her. Haha! Day 3 of playing with it. Last post I tried to post didn't even go through. And here years ago I had a web page of the kids up and running. Guess I'm not as HTML savvy as I thought! Oh well bear with the whiteness until my headache goes away and patient comes back to try again!

I made the best dinner tonight! I was worried because all the coating on the chicken fell off, but I made the sauce with all of it and then sliced the chicken and put it back in the sauce and YUM!! I stink at cooking if you don't know that. So the fact that I got it to turn out when it looked like all hope was gone was good! LOL

I'm older today!

So today I'm one year older. I think I need to stop having Birthdays as I don't wish to hit 40! It's quickly getting closer and it's kind of scary to me. I remember throwing my mom a big surprise party when she turned 40 and man I thought she was so old!

My bestest friend came over this morning and woke me up with Starbucks! How sweet was that. My kids let her in as I was dead to the world and didn't hear a thing. They were too afraid initially to come wake me up. LOL got them trained well finally! So I sat in my jammies and had my Starbucks with Jenay and we chatted. It was really nice. I love her!!

My mommy had a big birthday dinner for me last night. It was YUM-O, the best turkey I've had in awhile. My brothers and their families came out, my baby niece is so sweet, I got to cuddle with her while her crazy brother ran around with my kids. He's a cutie too but he doesn't let me cuddle him any more.



My mom made the most amazing home made cakes. I have half of one still in my fridge. Great! Another 5 lbs to add to my ass! LOL

Blah!

Yep that's how I feel. I guess I slept too much. Is that possible? I need to finish cleaning but yuck! Don't wanna!! So I sit her procrastinating! My mom is having me and the fam over for dinner tonight. I guess I should be excited but who said getting older at this stage in the game is any fun! Huh? LOL So I'm in a bah hum bug mood! Must snap out! Do you think cleaning will cure it?? Hahaha!!

My first post!

So I have a friend who's blog I frequent. Mom Taxi Julie She's quite entertaining, told me I should get a blog since I always post comments to hers. So here I am. I'm not very witty, I'm a terrible speller, and writing isn't my strong suit.

My one strong suit is whining! LOL I'm very good at it. I've had almost 36 years of practice! Any ways! Here's my first of many to come blogs. I'm sure I'll have something good to post about some days. As I am a mother to 4 kids, 2 of them being teenagers now!! Three of them being girls, things can only get more entertaining from here on out! LOL
